Salvator Scream is a notorious artist whose gruesome and often scandalous art was held in relatively high esteem by several of Korvosa’s nobles. Certainly, his popularity could not be denied among the lower classes, who were most familiar with his work at the Old Dock playhouse known as Exemplary Execrables, where his paintings served as grisly backdrops to that venue’s notoriously violent entertainments. Salvator himself wasn’t a public figure, though, and beyond his name, few folk could say they knew him before the quarantine went up.

He has met with Vencarlo Orisini on several occasions according to Amin Jalenko and the last meeting apparently ended in an argument. Shortly after, Vencarlo had to disappear when his Academy was attacked by Red Mantis assassins.
