Neolandus Kalepopolis is the former seneschal of Castle Korvosa. The seneschal of Castle Korvosa commands the defenses of the castle itself, and is regarded as the second most powerful individual in the city, behind only King Eodred II.
He has recently disappeared from the public stage after being replaced by a former high-ranking member of the Acadamae, a bloated wizard named Togomor.
As it turned out, Neolandus believes that Queen Ileosa Arabasti has murdered her own husband King Eodred II and entered an alliance with the infamous Red Mantis. On the run from the Queen’s henchmen, he is currently rumored to be sheltered by Glorio Arkona within the walls of Arkona Palace.
